Evie's Story

I think explaining my backstory and how I've become the "White Witch'' I am today will help to give an insight into the work I do, my dreams and the journey I’m on with Sea, Spirit & Stones. I'm not one for technology, or writing up website copy for that matter! Let's just say I'd much rather be writing messages in the sand on a tropical beach surrounded by like minded souls, hula dancing into the sunset! (Actually was my life’s ambition when I was 10yrs old).

From a young age, I've been brought up in a household that always looked at life a little differently from the conventional ways of the world. I feel very lucky to have grown up guided by my Mum who is an amazing homeopath. She brought us up on alternative medicine, taught us to look at life with new eyes and understand that Nature can supply us with more answers than we see in a world surrounded by westernised medicines. Growing up in this environment with an open mind, I have used homoeopathy, herbs and remedies to heal and nurture myself and my family and continue to use this way of life and I am forever grateful to Mother Nature.

Although growing up with an unconventional upbringing led me to be a very unique and different child. I was often called a ‘Freak Of Nature’ in school and it was clear to see that I was different, different in every sense of the word. Looking back, I often wonder why I was called this... probably the orange plastic bits in my hair or the sheer amount of cats that I had, possibly even my entire animal print get up for school? Maybe it was my love for nature, fairies, Tarot cards and crystals, anything remotely magical and misunderstood. My sister and I had a love for eccentricity, fancy dress and being so far from 'normal' it was hard to see anything else - but this was a good thing. A phrase that I once found quite offensive growing up, is now something I look at as a compliment. I now interpret’ Freak of Nature’ as, ‘One with nature’ - because to be different in a world that is so normative isn't a curse but a blessing. I bring my children up now to be unique, themselves and to 'colour outside the lines' because we shouldn't be confined by convention!

By listening, seeing and hearing Nature and the Universe's call, it helped me tune into one of my Soul Purposes. I have channelled my third eye and opened my Heart Chakra with the main intention of helping others with my Spiritual Sight and Touch. Through these gifts I help to heal both physical and mental trauma through alternative means, spirituality and light. I have heard the cry to help change the World. A World where an abundance of light is needed right now... in times that have exceedingly felt dark, lonely and hopeless. My soul has now consciously chosen to respond, a call to action if you must. I feel a lot of people are waking up to this feeling, a divine calling from the universe - whether it is subconsciously or with full awareness... We are hearing the calling.

There have been many times I have heard the universe. It doesn't start up a chat line like “do you come here often?” or speak in the literal sense but it does guide you. You will find yourself in situations when you are connected and intuitively know what to do, with signs and guidance sent to you from around us. This is something I have always been aware of, as a child I used to find lost children all the time which probably sounds bizarre! Children that were in trouble in the water, lost or people in need of help... this continued into adulthood. These people kind of found me? Or I found them... Either way, I always found myself in strange places, at strange times, when people are in need of help the most. This need to help people, whether naturally or through fate - followed me through life.

At 14 and 15 years old my sister Annie and I created Funky Chicks a Dance Group Academy and Entertainment Company. We spread love, joy and funkiness everywhere! It was a great laugh but also saw a massive amount of success, I swear if TikTok and Social Media was about then we'd have been massive! Following on from this Dance Academy, as I reached my early 20s my friend and I started up 'The Beat It project'. We went into Secondary Schools and tackled difficult subjects with young and vulnerable girls and focused on the well-being of teenagers. We met incredible young Women, with a lot of talent that just needed releasing. Young people that were going through tough times... we helped them to make positive changes by nurturing them towards a better choices. It  was such a rewarding time in my life. I look back on this time now and realise that these were our own 'Women's Circles', but for little women, where we sat and bared witness to each other and the things we carried around with us. We supported them and they supported each other, a sisterhood. So it was always there, this path of Women Supporting Women.

Now with the understanding and knowledge I gained, I focus my gifts, passion and creativity on releasing trauma in others. Similar experiences that many Souls can relate to. We are in a time of deep change, a difficult time where everyone's experiences are different but all unanimously impacted. In a time that feels incredibly restricting, that has caused great suffering and anxiety, a time of limitations and suppression - I am here to help lift the fear and guide you.

Through my own lived experiences, I have been through trauma. PostNatal Depression and Anxiety, with fierce panic attacks used to plague my existence. It was a time that felt incredibly hopeless and actually, quite helpless, until I decided I couldn't live like this anymore and changed this path for myself through alternative healing. Through my personal experiences I have learned some powerful tools; ways of coping and dealing with trauma. I have found ways to connect with Spirit and The Universe in order to win the battle and live a more fulfilling life. I would love to share this with as many people as possible.

I wouldn't be where I am today if it wasn't for my two beautiful children Paloma & Marlo and my Soul Mate Danny. I have such a beautiful family that help guide me to be a better version of myself each day. Just like my son, I have always had a natural obsession with stones and crystals, we have some strong stone arrangements around our house. Most kids want the latest iPad for Christmas, Marlo just wanted a giant selenite crystal shaped like a cave! My daughter Paloma brought peace into my life.  When I was pregnant with her, she seemed to heal me and a lot of the heavy dark clouds lifted. I am eternally grateful to her for saving me. Even though most days are a challenge to guide and parent such a powerful little human being - I am endlessly honoured to be raising such beautiful Souls. There is so much we can learn from each other, especially our children; they are beyond us.

One of the most magical times in my life where I feel I learned the most and how to connect to my guides was when I lived in Costa Rica by myself for four months when I was 19 years old, I was helping in orphanages, staying in rainforests and totally immersed in nature and humanity and I got to learn Spanish and salsa. I would love to share this with you more in time and hope to be back there soon rediscovering more! Pura Vida

Now we are in the current chapter of my life, where we uplifted our roots and moved to live by the sea in 2017. What a magical journey that has been. Moving to the magical, seaside town of Broadstairs on the Kent Coast has catapulted me into pursuing my purpose and in awakening my healing abilities. Through the ocean healing me, I too have found my path in healing others. From this, we have birthed Sea, Spirit & Stones.- inspired by my love of the sea, my love of spirituality and of course, my love of stones! It is also an ode to Stone Bay, the beach that bares my worries on stormy days and washes my anxieties away whilst showing me visions and messages from my guides and loved ones. Stone Bay has a scared energy of its own, I think a portal, old dogs turn young again and full of life and energy just as we humans alike raise our vibrations when we reach Stone Bay. It’s just an incredible place to ground yourself again and charge up on the. Sunlight.

Now, with Sea, Spirit & Stones, I get to meet hundreds of beautiful, like minded Souls who are hearing and feeling the call. Beautiful, free-spirited people who come to our Women's Circles or have One to One Treatments, who go on journeys of self discovery with our Retreats and whose path has led them to a great magical awakening of enlightenment and self power. The Universe is guiding us, if only you stop to listen to your guides and the messages, the remedies are all around you, it’s time to open our hearts to truly heal and change the tides together.
